How it all began September 26 2014
The story of Squeezable Skyline begins with two guys walking into a bar... well a restaurant. Two college buddies - co-founders Michael Gordon and Glenn Robertson - met for dinner at a local West Loop Chicago steakhouse. The restaurant (Carmichaels RIP) had a great outdoor area with a view of the Chicago skyline and Willis Tower. At some point during the dinner, Michael Gordon looked up at Willis Tower and said, "Someone should make plush versions of famous skyscrapers." After some discussion we agreed that they would make the perfect Chicago gift or souvenir for babies, tourists and people like ourselves who live in cities. As architecture fans, we figured that everyone would love to have huggable highrises.
After many years and a few false starts later, Squeezable Skyline was born.
